DIU Partnership for Fire Safety & Green Building Education
Axis-Triangle Group and Daffodil International University agreed to develop industry-aligned micro-credentials in fire safety and green building design.
Axis-Triangle Group and Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop industry-aligned micro-credential programmes. The collaboration was announced in Engr. Md. Shahjahan Alam’s LinkedIn post on 9 May 2025.
Engr. Shahjahan Alam signed on behalf of Axis-Triangle Group, while Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir represented DIU’s Micro-Credentials Cell. The ceremony was chaired by Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of DIU. Sharif Al Mahmud, COO of Triangle Engineers Ltd., attended as a representative of the industry partner.
The initial plan covered two courses: Fire Dynamics & Fire Fighting Systems, and Green Building Design. Triangle Engineers Ltd. would contribute practical experience in fire safety and MEP to connect academic learning with engineering work.
The planned courses focus on strengthening graduates’ technical skills and practical exposure through closer cooperation between university teaching and engineering practice.
